Scenery
Findhorn is situated in one of the most scenic parts of Moray, with its rugged rivers, forests, mountains, moors and miles of unspoilt sandy beaches.

Wildlife
Wildlife is abundant. Dolphins, seals and ospreys are frequently seen in the Moray Firth and red squirrels, deer, hares and wild cats can be seen along the many forest walks.

Towns
4 miles away is the town of Forres, with its busy high street, beautiful parks and museum. The Highland capital of Inverness is 25 miles away with all that a city has to offer including cinemas, theatres, shopping malls and restaurants.

Close by is RAF Kinloss which is  home to a fleet of Nimrod MR2 aircraft

History & Culture
Nearby are the castles of Cawdor and Brodie, the infamous Culloden battlefield with the Clava Cairns close by, and of course Loch Ness. An added attraction in the summer is the numerous Scottish highland games.

Mountains
Aviemore and the Cairngorm National Park is only 1 hour away, with wonderful mountain scenery and skiing in the winter.

Whisky
Moray has the highest concentration of Malt Whiskey distilleries in the world and has a varied and interesting Malt Whiskey Trail you can follow.
