Looking for a peaceful, more nature-based camping experience? The local charity Findhorn Hinterland Trust (FHT) offers sheltered, semi-wild pitches at the nortern edge of Wilkies Wood looking out over 200 acres of gorse and dunes near the Park Ecovillage Findhorn. Still far enough removed to be more in touch with the land and the natural beauty of the area – perfect for thoughtful, low-impact stays in nature.

Set on 12 bark-covered pitches near the dunes, this rustic site includes

compost toilets
a cold shower
woodland shelter
fire pit
cold water tap

Hot showers and laundry are available 0.5 mile away at Findhorn Bay Holiday Park. Please check with reception.

This site is vehicle-free and suited to small tents, preserving the quiet beauty of the land and ensuring minimal impact on other visitors, residents, and wildlife.

Bags are carried or wheeled to the site using carts or wheelbarrows provided.

98% of your camp fee supports the FHT’s conservation eduction, and community work on the Findhorn Peninsula.
