Findhorn Bay Holiday Park – COVID-19

July 2022

The safety and health of our customers, staff, visitors and local community is of upmost importance to us and therefore, we have decided to adapt our protocols we implemented from the beginning of the pandemic in line with the Scottish Government guidelines in order for us to welcome you to the Holiday Park safely and responsibly.

Although the government has relaxed restrictions, Covid-19 is still very much still around. We understand and appreciate that there are differing beliefs and opinions regarding coronavirus and its spread, however we have a duty of care to all that we must continue to follow.

What are we doing?

➤ We will continue to carry out fogging of all accommodation between stays and carry out additional deep cleaning of accommodation.

➤ We will also continue to offer hand sanitising facilities around the park for customer and visitor use.

➤ We continue to only accept card payment to limit cash handling.

What’s changed?

➤ Businesses are no longer legally required to collect customer details for the purpose of contact tracing and so we are no longer asking our customers to complete Track & Trace forms.

➤ It is no longer a legal requirement to wear a face covering when visiting out Reception and facilities, however you are welcome to wear a face covering if you prefer.

➤ There is no longer a legal requirement for a one-person limit within the reception area as social distancing regulations have been relaxed however it is preferred for only one member of a party coming in to check in or make enquiries where possible.

Feeling unwell while on holiday with us?

We hope you enjoy your time with us and remain fit and well throughout, however, if you do start to feel unwell and have or suspect you are having symptoms of COVID-19, please inform reception immediately by calling 01309 690203 and do not attend in person. If you become unwell out with office hours then alternatively, please contact our Duty Warden on 07708 408397.

We will ask for your details, including details of your accommodation and holiday party. It’s important that we work to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on park amongst our guests and teams, so you may be required to leave the park and return home to self-isolate.

If you test positive for COVID while on holiday with us, the current Government Guidance states you should “stay at home” for 3 days if you are 18 years and under, or for 5 days if you are over 18 years. The way the days are counted are from the day after you test positive. If you are in the same holiday home as someone who has tested positive for COVID, if you develop symptoms of COVID or start to feel unwell, you should follow the same guidance as above.
